FAQ

What is your approach to therapy?
Every client is unique in their needs and the approach that works best for them. I primarily function as a psychodynamic therapist, however, if needed, I will pull from several different modalities for talk therapy.

Do you accept insurance?
I currently do not accept insurance. In order for you to have full privacy and flexibility in your care, all services are private pay. When I am able to, I do negotiate my rate. I can also provide you with a superbill. A superbill is an official receipt of documentation for out-of-network services that you may submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.

How long are sessions and how often do we meet?
Sessions are 50 minutes long. Most clients benefit from meeting weekly, especially when starting therapy. As we progress, we may adjust the frequency based on your needs and goals.

How can I pay for sessions?
All major credit cards are accepted. HSA/FSA cards are also accepted.

Do you offer in-person therapy?
Yes! I see clients in-person in my Aspen office located at 210 S. Galena Street.

Do you offer Telehealth services?
Yes! My virtual sessions are held in Simple Practice's HIPAA-compliant Telehealth platform.

What is your cancellation policy?
I require at least 24 hours advance notice to cancel appointments. If you notify me less than 24 hours before the appointment, you are required to pay the full cost of the session.

Next steps to becoming a client?
Feel free to get in touch here. Or, go ahead and schedule your free 15-minute consultation on my patient portal.

What is the consultation for?
I always like to chat with folks before scheduling them for a first session simply to ensure we are a good fit. To the same effect, you deserve to feel confident in choosing a therapist.
